–“Underlying all of what Lanny Davis has written is a wholesome faith in the decency of the electorate and in the capacity of the American people to change and grow and work together despite their differences….”
–Iowa former Governor and US Senator Harold E. Hughes

Truth to Tell: Tell It Early, Tell it All, Tell It Yourself: Notes From My White House Education (Clinton White House memoir) (The Free Press, 1999)
–“Lanny Davis has written a book that should be required reading for all Washington officials and journalists alike. It’s an instructive and cautionary tale of the constant struggle to know the truth of what is going on at the highest level of governments.”–Tom Brokaw, NBC News, author of The Greatest Generation

“On the air and now in print, Lanny Davis has managed the considerable feat of serving all his constituents extremely well. President, Press and Public. This is a very thoughtful book.”
–Carl Bernstein, coauthor of “All the President’s Men”

“Lanny Davis has written an extraordinarily candid account of his time as the president’s chief scandal scooper. We follow him as he argues for full and fair disclosure in the face of opposition from those White House operatives who hoped it would all just go away. Even better, it reads like a terrific thriller, with a twist ending.”
–Gail Sheehy, author of Passages and Understanding Men’s Passages

Scandal: How ‘Gotcha’ Politics is Destroying America (Palgrave 2006)
“In this polarized nation of 280 million souls, Lanny Davis is one of the select few who maintains a personal affection for both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. If you read this book you’ll know why this is true – and why we are all diminished because it is so rare….[His book] is a compelling call for a truce in our way room style of perpetual campaigning.”
–Carl Cannon, editor, RealClearPolitics, former White House correspondent, National Journal

–“This book could not come at a more appropriate time in American political life. Whether it’s a debate on the war, judges, taxes, or almost anything else, the ability of Americans to engage each other with respect and dignity is being lost. Lanny Davis has been on the front lines of some of the sharpest political debates in our natin’s history. We should listen and learn from his experience and observations.”
–Senator Lindsey Graham (S.C.)

“To many conservatives, Lanny Davis is a celebrated anomaly: A thoughtful liberal, a decent guy, and a fair-minded Democratic operative who loves this country more than he loves his party.”
–Michael Medved, nationally syndicated conservative talk show host

“Davis is that rare insider who is capable of being fair to all sides. He is willing to cast blame on his own party, his own candidates, and even his own self, along with those on the other side who deserve blame. This perceptive look into the Washington world of equal opportunity scandal-mongering must be read by Democrats and Republicans alike…”
–Professor Alan M. Dershowitz, Harvard Law School

One of our keenest political observers, Davis lays out a meticulous case against James Comey….Davis’ book is at once disturbing, fascinating, and informative. It is must read for anyone who cares about the future of democracy.”
–Kurt Eichenwald, contributing editor to Vanity Fair and bestselling author

“….Lanny Davis and Donald Trump agree on one thing: James Comey should have been fired. The difference, as Davis proves conclusively, is that Comey should have been fired by P resident Obama for violating rules of the Justice Department, interfering in a presidential election, and throwing the election to Donald Trump”
–Bill Press, former moderator of CNN’s, nationally syndicated columnist and progressive Democrat TV/radio talk show host.
